I am currently the Director of Genomics ad Altos Labs in Redwood city. I was previously the Research and Operation manager at the Stanford site of the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub. I previously worked as Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Stanford University. I am using CRISPR/CAS9 libraries to find new candidates gene for metabolic diseases.I have completed my PhD in Molecular Biology at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (www.ist.ac.at) with a thesis on the optical screening of orphan G-Protein Coupled Receptors.I have explored the mechanism of radiation absorption for healthy and tumor tissue as Visiting Scientist at the ESRF - European Synchrotron Radiation Facility located in Grenoble, France.
