Attended an event
I went to Life is Beautiful for the first time yesterday!

It was an amazing time. It was impressive to see the level of work that goes into putting on an event of this size. I was blown away by all of the experiences. In addition to large music stages, there were also plenty quiet, chill open spaces where you could lounge. There were so many amazing art installations as well. I wish I had taken some more pictures but I was really working on living in the moment!

Not going to lie though, after almost two years of living in a pandemic, doing this type of stuff feels very weird. I find myself even more anxious around people. I also feel some level of guilt, like I shouldn't be participating in events like this.

They did require vaccination proof or a negative COVID test to enter, which gave me some reassurance that I was at least less likely to get sick or get others sick.

Is this what people mean when they say we all have to adjust to a "new normal"?
