I'm a writer, speaker, equity consultant, and public policy and communications specialist who's spent my career building partnerships between corporations, nonprofits, and governments, and telling the stories of the impact of that work.
I'm the founder and CEO of MG Equity Consulting (http://mgequityconsulting.com/), where I help organizations embed equity in everything that they do, inside and out. Whether it's through speaking engagements, helping with communications, policy, and partnerships work, advising on existing diversity, equity, and inclusion plans, I advise companies on how to use equitable strategies as a means to the most important end: helping communities thrive.
I previously led Uber's global efforts to make its platform more accessible for historically marginalized groups, where I spearheaded Uber’s work to improve outcomes for underserved communities. Before Uber, I was an executive communications manager at Google, where I developed strategic communications for two Google CFOs and their leadership teams.
Prior to Google, I was the director of communications at a national education advocacy organization, the American Federation for Children, and previously worked on issue campaigns at the polling firm Greenberg Quinlan Rosner.
I graduated with a bachelor's degree from Harvard, where I was the president of The Harvard Crimson.
