The future of recruiting, and getting hired is relationships.

It's not about gaming the system. It is about getting through the circles of exclusion and doing the work to make sure your signal is heard above the noise.

I started as a college dropout who could only get contract roles at companies because I didn't have a degree.

I got my degree at night while raising a young family and made it to working at top companies in Silicon Valley.

This ongoing debate about AI rejections in ATS systems is a moot point. Applying for a job and hoping gets you nowhere.

You apply for the job so that after you make contact directly with the recruiter or hiring manager (by using super personalized outreach or some growth tactic to get noticed and begin building a relationship) they can easily send you an invite for a meeting.

It's up to you to make it happen in your life. The good news is if you study, read and try hard enough for long enough. You can. I did.
