This project had me working overtime 😅 It was an interesting period to be producing a tourism video during the COVID-19 pandemic's second wave. So many locations were suddenly shut down (again)😮We had to get creative in sourcing different ways of throwing together the footage.
One of the things that really made me enjoy this project was how our creative director drew the video's inspiration from a smartphone commercial. We got to integrate and elevate the concept by representing each unique selling point as a tourist character 😀😎 It certainly made for a more unique scriptwriting task. Most of all, I'll never forget those gruelling hours I spent before finally coming up with the tagline that made my boss go "Yesss! That's the one!" 😆 It's really the simplest lines that are the most challenging 😜
I hope viewers enjoy it as much as I do. (at least, compared to the many conventional tourism video formats)
