This was my most recent win. Friday night I had a fundraising gala dinner at the California African American Museum in partnership with House Party Creative (Tylynn Burns) sponsored by Beats By Dre & Uncle Nearest. It was truly breath taking, a private dinner in the middle of the museum with my loved ones. After we cleared out the tables and open up the dance floor. The space was decorated by 9 local black artist with their beautiful paintings everywhere , custom cotton candy , electric slide and swag surfing in fine garments giving the vibes. It was amazing. Saturday I then had my “The Black Art Collective’ exhibit in Leimert Park for the Juneteenth festival. We had a 5,500 sq ft warehouse filled with art , live dj and a black creatives panel. For the cherry on the top, Sunday I had my flea market. I have no clue how I pulled it off but I am so proud of myself. It was definitely a lot of lessons learned but this weekend history was made :)
