I started to work at my college as a Technical Assistance in one of the physics labs division (the āDā Laboratory).Ā
I offered technical support to students and teachers and I was in charge of repairing, maintaining and supervising the computers of 5 laboratories where physics experiments were made.
Those computers were very old at that time (e.g. they had a Pentium 5 processor) so we had to do daily maintenance. The college did not have the resources to update the components, so we had to work with some limitations.Ā
I took turns with 2 other students to do this and we had a scheduled board. This was the first experience I had outside my home where I opened a desktop computer and changed its parts.Ā
