Computer and machine vision - HSV color model-based Wound Detection System

The study was performed to review how frequent skin injuries occur and how they affect the workload of health care workers and perform the initial steps for designing a system that has the capability to assist medical personnel in their line of work. Designing a process where that the medication can be accomplished through computational vision and Robot Manipulator-based system. 

  • Detection through MS Kinect & Intel Real Sense RGB-D sensors.

  • HSV color model-based color detection algorithm through development MATLAB.

  • Point Cloud processing to attain required depth data.

  • ICP for point cloud registration.
