A former performer, I was bitten by the acting bug at the early age of 8. By the time I was 14 and studying at the American Conservatory Theatre, my dad, a software engineer for IBM at the time, offered me $50 to read an Adobe Photoshop book from cover to cover and show him what I learned. I took him up on it and went a step further, teaching myself to code and building my first full website by 16. I went on to a successful theatre career performing all over the world, and eventually pivoted back to the digital space. I've always been drawn to the fusion of technology and design and was excited to expand on my experiences growing up in the Silicon Valley. This lead me to my current career in marketing, building and leading digital marketing teams for various startups, to a large global enterprise, and to a medium-sized, hyper-growth company. Oh and I still love to jump in a pool and pretend I can still play water polo from time to time.
