Every day we tend to forget to close the water taps when not in use and there are cases such as water cuts in many places in India. We conducted a survey and there we found that most of the people were not aware of how much water has been utilized. Hence we came up with the proposition of a smart water management system as it is the need of the hour. As we know that by the year 2025 around 2/3rd of the world population will face water shortages and as we know that water is one of the most essential elements for life therefore there is a necessity for this system to be implemented in every household. This project rectifies the problem statement as all the system comes together and the data can be monitored by the user easily through an Android phone. When implemented in households this project will detect and minimize the wastage of water and will benefit society by preventing water deficiency in the future.
