Graduated from Goucher College with an MFA in Creative Nonfiction. Goucher's low-residency nonfiction program was the first of its kind in the country. My thesis was called Dirty Water Coffee. It was a collection of nonfiction essays on the theme of myth, family, and personal history, which I later self-published, and subsequently un-published.
