Rethinking the User Experience of Medic Dispatch 2.0

Stakeholders of Medic Dispatch 1.0 requested that the mobile app be audited in order to figure out what the loopholes are - in regards to adequate virtual healthcare experience that the application was initially designed to provide.

After carrying out a heuristic evaluation, the following insights were deduced:

  • Customers access inadequate information about the application
  • Design did not reflect exact pain points of target users
  • Pain points of target users were not clearly identified
  • A significant gap between actual user problems and the features on the application
I collaborated on redesigning this existing product along with a colleague of mine who also worked on the web application.

The proposed redesign and implementation of Medic Dispatch 2.0 is yet to be deployed to the app stores. However, new updates approved by the Stakeholders have been made to the current shipped version of the product.
