actually expect and want from a B2B brand trying to sell them something.
I refer to it as top-of-funnel brand experience design, because let's be honest – whether the first touchpoint is a digital ad that marketing created or an unsolicited email from a sales person, your brand is being impacted.
Other obsessions:
- Investigative interviewing to unearth qualitative data (customer insights) that are a gold mine for marketing and creative teams.
- Writing voice over video scripts for animated short-form content
- Editing other people's writing so it sounds less "corporate jargon" and more "real person"
- Collaborating with creative people to infuse more humor in stale B2B communications
- Building relationships with strangers on LinkedIn and other social platforms
- Coaching sales reps on how to be content creators and write less horrible prospecting emails
Always up for:
- Aimlessly wandering through new cities
- Playing armchair psychologist with my closest friends (who love it by the way)
- Adding an avocado to just about anything
