The Mobile Battle: Flutter VS React Native VS Native
Over the past 3 months I have spoken to many candidates about mobile development opportunities and the opinions on which approach should be taken have varied widely
What I have learned:
Flutter: UI first framework ( good for design ,
easily integrated and few performance issues)
React Native: Easily learned for web developers who
have exp with react framework
Native ( android & IOS) - Best performance
The trend:
Web devs lean towards React Native
Mobile devs lean towards Flutter / Native
As of August 2019 Flutter , a newer framework than React native has almost caught up in terms of Github Stars (72,000 to react Natives 80,000 respectively)
What will the market look like in 6 - 12 months? shall Flutter surpass React Native?
Shall companies adopt mobile development based on their current tech stacks for native development?
