Loved helping out at the Smallpeice Trust Rail Residential in collaboration with the University of Birmingham!
I lead a team to organise and execute a rail related 'treasure hunt' for 50 sixteen-year-old students from all over the UK, which allowed them to catch a train to the National College for High Speed Rail. Here they have some awesome facilities such as VR in the Eurostar power car, signalling equipment and more.
I also delivered a lecture on 'Automating Railway Operations' the Uni, which talked about railway signalling and different levels of automation, from mainline route signalling to driverless trains!
