TfL Girls Network Day in London: we had the opportunity to speak to girls between the ages of 16-18 about our careers and how we got to where we our now. In turn we discussed what inspires them and what they enjoy.
We had some varied discussions, and amongst this I shared with them that when I failed to get into my first choice university the first time, I thought this was the end of the world! However this was a blessing in disguise as I wouldn't have discovered my engineering course and wouldn't be where I am today, an example that it's okay not to get things right first time, as long as you pick yourself up and try again!
