Nicky Saddleton – Brand Strategist & Consultant

Nicky Saddleton has dedicated the majority of her 27 year career in design, branding and marketing to creating and developing Bahamian brands.

Nicky is a British national who met her Bahamian husband while studying art and design at University in the UK. After a few years into her advertising career, a trip back to The Bahamas visiting family turned into a job search for both of them and a life-changing decision to move back permanently.

Nicky started with a small advertising firm and from there she embarked on a journey of discovery of the Bahamian consumer and how strong design and branding principals and well thought out marketing strategies could help Bahamian companies.

After finding her feet she joined another small start up agency where the client list included, Cable Bahamas, Bahamas Financial Services Board, Kalik, Heineken, Bahamas Ferries, Furniture Plus, BahamaHealth to name a few, many of those brands she helped developed are still around today and have lasted as long as her career.

After freelancing for a few years Nicky moved into a partnership and built an agency from scratch employing a slew of talented Bahamians. Together they developed many brands, most notable being University of The Bahamas, Blackberry, Colina Insurance, Bahamas Local, Doctors Hospital and Guardian Radio.

Now under her own name, Nicky has successfully created brands for 700 Wines and Spirits, Fusion Superplex, Sandbox Children’s Store, Evolve Functional Fitness, Bahamas National Trust, Bahamas Development Bank, One Eleuthera Foundation, Bahamas Strong, Ty’s Place and her client list includes John Watlings, The Nassau Guardian, Walk-In Clinic, Powerboat Adventures, Furniture Plus, Bahamas Financial Services Board and many more.

Most recently she donated her time and talents to co-create the One World Climate Disaster healing Song/project. In 2020 she was honoured to be included into the list of "25 Most influential women in Business"

Her and her husband reside in Eastern New Providence and have 2 children.
