As part of UCD Netsoc, I helped organise loads of events. I had no experience running events before joining Netsoc's committee and it was a bit of a shock to see exactly how much work was needed to run good events and also entice members to attend. Overall we ran 30 events in eight months, and we had a nice variety of technical and social events.
