Local market
Hearing stories from the past and observing the shifting reality of a single local market (Gujarat, India) Y-O-Y is a multi-sensory learning experience. How a local market shifts and grows is an emergent behavior phenomenon worth understanding.

Snippet from immersions in local market

My local bazaar travel experiences within the interiors of Gujarat. It started during summers while observing and listening to people coming from various nearby villages to the market was enriching.
It ranged from sitting at multiple shops in the market from electronics, kirana, cloth material and pan shops, etc. These experiences helped me later on when I started working in marketing space as a strategist. From understanding the human behavior's contexts helped me better craft insights and marry it to research (quantitative + qualitative) findings. Later on when the business started focusing on solving different problems in distribution channel space for the clients. I was easily able to visualize the life of small retailers in a small village, as I had delivered multiple everyday products in summer heat traveling on two-wheeler. Marring these life experiences, I was able to deliver qualitative research. Along with other experts from my office coworkers were able to deliver working and unique products across 4 - 5 clients across the last 2 to 3 years.
