Where exactly?
on the main page with the bullets the plus sign is just floating top middle-ish
#tags aren't recognized in the focus section
Privacy settings/information should be included in the onboarding (love the way you explained it in the documentation btw)
Would likely involve prohibitive amounts of frustration/risks/time/effort etc, but an optional social aspect would be neat. Either an independent settings menu for each section or just the option to add other users to different groups, (ie family, colleagues, spouse/partner) and to change the visibility of the section/entry to whomever the intended audience is.
I know that introduces a pandora's box of problems, but it would probably attract more users.
Thanks for the feedback River!
The #tags and @mentions work only in Bullets for now, might extend that later, it has already been requested a few times.
About the sharing, I also think that is a good idea and I have it already on the todo list. Probably will have the option at some point to have multiple journals and then share them with other people. But as you say that is Pandora's Box, so I'll tackle that once all the basics work.
Well we can test for that! Set up a UserZoom (or whichever testing suite) you might use) and test if users Understand what they should/might do next.
I’d love to pitch in and review the app for you and your team. Are there specific facets of the app you want feedback on?
I’d think about some light onboarding if you are going to land the user on the initial journaling page. Some neurodiverse users can be daunted by an empty page.
The idea was that the UI should be so simple and intuitive that it is self-explaining. But I get your point and it is definitely not there yet. I'll work on a small intro screen. There are ~20% of users that go through the sign up process and do not create a single entry, maybe it is related to that.

Feedback:
The text in the hero should be left-aligned - I understand the vibe you're trying to get with the right-aligned text, but stick with left-aligned text to help visitors understand the message.
- The call to action button should be prominent, again I understand why you stick with minimal tones, but a call to action is an essential function so it should be visible
- Enhance your mockup frames to make them more readable and appealing
- Keep card information consistent, place cards side-by-side to improve flow, and if you can, incorporate some minimal motion.
- Highlight the footer section before pricing for better content hierarchy
- Align the pricing feature offering left to make it easy to read
- The FAQ section needs a bit of attention
- Maintain Consistency with sitemaps in the footer section
- Refine your copies (not important)
Hi Toni! I have tried the app and I have to say that I love the simplicity of the app and the user experience of the app. It has a very clean design and I didn’t have any issues trying to figure out which direction that I needed to go to within the app.
Amazing, that's great to hear. Thanks so much for checking it out!
