I am a Cloud Sustainability Advocate, ADHD tech founder and non-binary queer on a mission to help developers understand their impact on the world and reduce their carbon emissions in the cloud.

My conference talks are engaging, hands on and inspiring. I've spoken at events large and small from community events to AWS Summits in San Francisco and London.

Earlier this year an attendee got back in touch to share that their company, a large insurance provider, had updated their development practices and standards to considering sustainability as a factor in decision making.

I've set up Public Cloud for Public Good a podcast targeted towards developers and senior leaders in tech that's starting a conversation about Cloud Sustainability. I want the Public Cloud to make the world a better place but first we need to understand it's impact on the world. In my previous life I was the Product Manager for Public Cloud (read, Head of Cloud) for the largest UK government department in terms of cloud spend. I have negotiated contracts up to £130m, I drafted part of the terms of the UK Governments One Government Value Agreement MoU and was an assessor for the Cloud Compute Framework focused on resilience and disaster recovery.

I'm also looking for collaborators to build an open resource guide that helps more tech speakers and content creators talk about ethical tech and how to use the cloud sustainably.
