👷🏻♂️ We’ve just built the first 3 workflows:
— Alert me if [invitee X] didn’t accept the invite
— Ask invitees to send prework. Make it automatic for reccuring meetings
— Ask the host how you are supposed to contribute.

What automation should we build next? 😱
We’ve received great ideas, for example:
— Add customised note [with reminder] to a meeting
— Create Slack channel for a meeting
— An invite outside my working hours? → Send customised alert note

Vision:
You create customised workflows.
We build an If → Then engine that makes it easy.
It protects your time from unnecessary meetings.
All inside Google Calendar.

Just a few thoughts, I hope this helps:
* allow for meeting time min/max and create if/then statements based on meeting or not meeting those (ex. if meeting is created for 45 min but max is 30 min, then suggest 30 min meeting revision)
* create if/then statement based on keywords in meeting invite subject (ex. if subject = product, then include 1) specific people on the invite, 2) specific documents in the invite, etc.)
* and finally I'm assuming you're starting with google calendar, but the more calendar integrations the better!
Hi Veronika, I saw a campaign recently about how it should be ok to have video off, as some people may have a disability. See here:
https://disabilityin.org/accessibility/keeping-the-camera-off-creates-inclusive-virtual-meetings/
Which got me thinking about how that would work in practical terms, especially when the meeting has people from outside your organization, which may have adopted related policy or colleagues are aware of someone's condition in their own org. Anyone from outside the org (eg customers), may not be aware of that and get annoyed that some people have video off or remind them "turn you video on" or unmute etc.
Use case:
Ask invitees if anyone has specific accessibility/inclusivity requirements that should be considered. Responses are anonymized and if someone replies yes, for example they need to join with video off, a message flashes up at the start of the meeting alerting everyone that some invitees may have video off, and in broad terms why, perhaps with a link to the campaign linked above.
A related use case is for those that are deaf. I am not sure if there is any real-time transcription software on the market, but there are plenty of of transcription options that send a transcript after the meeting. eg fireflies.ai is one I use. A person with impaired hearing may flag they'll need a transcript (they can't lip read if people have video off) and read the transcript afterwards, with an option to send their input to the group in an 'asynchronous' fashion, linked into the relevant points of the transcript and either in video or text format.
Hi Boris, as a Product Owner of Aimful, I want to thank you for sharing these ideas / use cases 👍 Something like general "raise a requirement" feature could be valuable to many users - I'm adding this to our Backlog.
You're very welcome!
