Kathryn from Progress Software is looking for React Engineers

Get a Free License and Build With the KendoReact UI Component Library!

Hello, I'm Kathryn and I'm the Developer Advocate for KendoReact, a React UI component library. We're looking for creators or companies interested in partnering with us to make cool stuff using the KendoReact library. I know that sounds a little vague; that's because we're really open to lots of possibilities of how this could look!
If you've got an interesting project or idea, we'd love to support it with a free license to our 100+ component, fully accessible, professional component library. We have a strong focus on supporting designers, so if you're not a developer or engineer, don't let that stop you! For example, maybe you're thinking about using KendoReact to build out your next cool app idea or maybe you want to use the KendoReact Figma Kits to jump start your design system. The possibilities are endless!
From this collaboration, we would expect the following:
  • A finished, public project that we can link to on our website and share as an example of something built using KendoReact.
  • A piece of content (blog, video, Twitch stream, etc. – your choice!) explaining how you used KendoReact in your project.
  • A short (20 min) feedback session with our team where you tell us what you liked or didn't like about using KendoReact.
In exchange, we provide you:
  • One free KendoReact license.
  • Access to our support team and knowledge base for any questions you might have about building with KendoReact.
  • Support creating your content piece of choice.
Even if you're not completely certain about your idea, drop me a line and we can brainstorm together. Thanks :)

Dev Advocate, KendoReact • Front End Engineer & UI Designer
In 2013, I graduated with a Fine Arts degree and took my first job as Junior Graphic Designer at a small, boutique ad agency. While there, my Creative Director told me to never let anyone else find out that I knew how to code – he warned me that if they knew I could do it, I'd be stuck doing it forever and never get to focus on print design again. I ignored his warning; turns out, he was completely right, but I've never been happier.

I currently work as a developer advocate on a wonderful team where I help people build beautiful and user-friendly interfaces for their web applications, design and maintain component libraries, and desperately attempt to stop back-end devs from writing any more CSS.
