Nice idea! Like the background color options.
Here's a couple of quick observations from playing around:
- I got the "formatting not supported for this language" (JS or Python) - would be nice to be able to tab in or out multiple lines manually in that case.
- Blur could be stronger to truly blur out info.
- Would be nice to be able to set padding on the inner box (didn't see this if it's there)
Good luck!
also, it's an interesting coincidence to find you here! Only the last 2 weeks I've been playing around with this https://mokkapps.de/blog/build-and-deploy-a-serverless-graphql-react-app-using-aws-amplify/
Looks nice and well built!
If you can get a good number of users, maybe you can find an exit by being bought by an IDE or other developer tool. I like how immediately you can try it. Price seems good, though it still may be difficult to convince people it's worth $2 when screenshots are free. That may be the challenge. Maybe sharing integrations to sites like Twitter or dev sites like Stack Exchange, etc may help get virality and find users, especially paid ones.
Other feedback after <5 minutes of use:
* Under the Frame menu, the aspect ratio interacts with Width, so that if you choose 16:9, while you have Auto width set, then you don't get the aspect ratio being applied until you switch off Auto width. So maybe the width switch should change automatically if 16:9 is set. Then if 1:1 is chosen again, you could switch back to Auto. Or find another solution by looking at the possible combinations of these two parameters and deciding which ones are valid.
* More minor: in Toolbar options, I'm not sure if a Mac toolbar is ever to the right, so may be worth checking on that and greying out the option. I don't know about Windows off the top of my head.
* It's strange about the Chrome line number export not working. Worth fixing that if you can I think.
Good luck with it! Do you mind if I ask how long it took to develop this?
