We're looking for a Head of Developer Relations with Quix!
You’ll create a community of Quix users, helping them better use stream processing. You'll also and represent them inside the company to help us create a tool that developers love!
Your responsibilities include:

Your responsibilities include:
- Identify and engage with our target communities
- Create projects to demonstrate the value of Quix; build developer-focused and value-oriented educational projects and demos etc
- Communicate across all channels with various blog posts, talk proposals, slide decks, videos and social posts etc
- Advocate for the developer experience while working with our internal teams, crafting Quix to match the developers' needs.
- Build and mentor a team of developer advocates
- Community building and nurturing the community's health and contribute to open source activation
- Partnership support with various technical and business partners
- Support our content engine with best practices and technical opinions and make use cases and examples for documentation.
Requirements for this position:
- Experience in a fast-growing developer relations program, technical advocacy and/or management functions
- Knowledge of data stream processing on a broker:
- Key technologies include Spark, Flink, Kafka Streams, Lambdas, pub/sub, and Azure
Knowledge of software development methodologies, tools, and languages, especially Python and C#
- Key technologies include Spark, Flink, Kafka Streams, Lambdas, pub/sub, and Azure
- Good understanding of streaming systems, databases, data warehouses, system infrastructures, cloud markets, etc
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent technical professional experience as a software engineer or developer
- Experience speaking at developer community events and participating in online forums
- Ability to take the initiative and work independently
- A data-driven and analytical mindset
