The Geek Within started with a focus on tech career journeys, but I quickly learned that EVERYONE has amazing stories on how they ended up where they are today. From the decisions on education (i.e., college, certifications, opportunities, etc.) to the hard decisions on where to work and when to move on.
This podcast is on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@thegeekwithin) and all the normal podcast apps (i.e., Spotify, Apple, etc.).
I do not monetize this podcast, it is a labor of love, and do not pay guests for their time.

I can talk about how to successfully transition careers within the tech ecosystem. In the course of my career, I have transitioned from frontend developer to technical writer to developer advocacy. I can also talk about building in public and handling feedback anxiety as a developer advocate whose work will most likely be reviewed by lots of stakeholders.
I run a website called everythingtechnicalwriting.com – a website that serves as a resource bank for technical writers. I have managed to grow my subscriber count to >1200 in a year without any heavy promotion. I can speak about my experience doing this too.

I have been positively overwhelmed by how many people reached out to be interviewed and have scheduled enough interviews to have episodes for the next 5-6 months! To that end, I want to pause on bookings so that the release of the episode is not so drastically distant from when I record.

Hi there. My name is Wyatt and I would like to virtually introduce myself as I am the author of an upcoming novel: Unfiltered Feeds: Direct Messages of Hope. This particular novel talks about my personal experiences from being a college graduate, graduating with honors, to becoming homeless due to my own actions. I have autism (ASD1) and obsess over technology and branding. Further, I am considered by some as a Section 230 Legal Scholar. I have met with: then Presidential Candidate Marianne Williamson, then Presidential Candidate Joseph Biden, and then Presidential Candidate Kanye West about particular Section 230 issues. Regarding Kanye, I disavow any comments of hate and evil. I met with Kanye prior to such comments and shot exclusive content in Charleston, South Carolina when he sadly had a breakdown; talked about abortion and now divorce from Kim Kardashian. I am also curating a podcast, and have received much interest from Sir Tim Berner-Lee, Sir Tim has been credited with creating the internet.
In short, I have used digital connections and digital communities to get me aligned with more reality and where I need to be at this current time in life.
