Podcast Studio Market Research

Brainstorming opportunity
Hello! I'm looking for podcasters to do some market research on studio recording fees. If you rent a recording studio, would you be willing to share the hourly rate you are paying? If you own one, I would be curious to know what you are charging.
I have a client who built one for fun but is now being asked to rent it to others and he's looking to identify a fair price.
Any info you can share would be greatly appreciated!

I'm a pro audio engineer and I've worked in top studios around the country. It depends so much on the space and equipment. Larger studios like Southern Ground Nashville can be thousands a day, small studios can be $50-$100 an hour with an engineer.
Thanks Gabriel! Your reply helps. My client built what I would probably classify as a hobby studio (if that is a term). Then he was surprised that people wanted to rent it. He just didn't want to overcharge anyone. Thanks again for your input!
If it's a space in his home or something it's unlikely outside people will want to come rent it. If it's an industrial space he's converted to a studio it's about finding the right clients for it and where you are. BUT many people are just doing this from home via Zoom and don't understand how much better these things can be. I'd search for local podcasts, especially business and university, that are being done badly and reach out about the space. Show samples of work. I'd 100% make sure he can provide video, editing, and pro audio mixing too.
