As a Product designer, I passionately work with businesses to create digital products with superb user experience and visual satisfaction.

I embarked on my design journey in 2014 and it has been an amazing decision. I started my career with Brand Identity Design and added skills in web development (HTML, CSS and Javascript), video editing, motion graphics, and CGI.

Today, I focus more on Product Design while bringing other skills to the table.

As a Product Designer, my tools are, Figma & Protopie for prototyping,  Miro/Figma for wireframing. For animations, I use After Effects, for video editing I use Premiere Pro, for task management Jira, Notion & Trello, for brand identity design,  Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

MY UX/UI PROCESS 
My process is founded on teamwork with stakeholders and also iterations.
I start out with the project's scope which gives me preliminary insight into the product & its target customers. 

Then I carry out surveys,  interviews,  create user personas and other needed research materials to better understand user needs/pain points. This further guides the action points and trade-offs that are adopted during the ideation and prototyping phases.

Ideation is done on paper (sketching), in Miro and/or Figma. Once the team is clear on the concept for the UI design, I proceed to make high-fidelity wireframes for usability testing. In some cases, I make high-fidelity prototypes right away (this is a decision that takes time and other resources into account though).

After carrying out usability tests, the team analyzes the test results and takes careful action to improve the product further. This leads to a hand-off once the final prototype for this phase is ready. Iterating on products even after hand-offs is constant.

As a product designer, I work closely with the marketing/sales team to help foster the adoption of products. I do this by sharing my knowledge during brainstorming and team retrospective sessions, as well as participating in marketing activities within my purview.

Interacting with the engineering team is easy because of my knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript (and frameworks/libraries like React, Django & Laravel).

I am the Founder of Creative Ferry, a superb ONLINE design academy that focuses on teaching by mentoring.

I also hold private online coaching sessions for individuals interested in UX/UI design.

When I am not designing, you can find me talking about industry or business news, playing chess, interacting with friends and watching movies.
