I write about how I created a custom short domain name for short links generated by Twirl, my web-app (hosted on Heroku) that generates short links.

To do this, I created a new DNS entry on Google Domains and configured NGNIX to redirect requests to this DNS entry to Twirl.

Here's a quick look-back to 2021. It was marked by my choice to become a programmer.

In this article, I give a short glimpse of my journey so far: learning an entirely new programming language, writing close to 40 articles related to programming, building five projects and much more. And the cherry on the top? Being admitted to the Recurse Center. It is a “self-directed, community-driven educational retreat for programmers based in New York”. My batch starts on the 3rd and I couldn't be more excited about the opportunity to meet and work with some of the most curious and smart programmers from all over the world!
