Creating Signar 🧏đŸģ‍♀ī¸đŸĻģđŸģ

"Signar is conceptual visualisation of how Augmented Reality could help Deaf and Hearing Children communicate."

I created Signar as part of my final project for my university degree back in 2018, and it still stands out as a piece of work that I am incredibly proud of in my career. It symbolises what 'tech-for-good' means to me, and the hope I have for how tech will continue to enrich our lives in the future. It combines two areas I'm incredibly passionate about; children's educational products and inclusive tech, and I really hope to see products like this coming to market in the next 5-10 years!

I was lucky enough to be one of the winners of an award for presented by Deloitte Digital in Belfast for 'Outstanding skill and Creative Thinking in Interaction Design', which was a highlight after putting so much effort into Signar.

I created a case study with a full run-down of the UX and UI processes I used to reach the final outcome, which was an interactive prototype app.
