#ACT4CAT Campaign (2015-2021)

I helped founded #ACT4CAT Coalition (Act for Convention Against Torture), an campaign coalition established in 2015 to advocate for Malaysia’s accession to the United Nations Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (UNCAT) and the eliminating all acts of torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment in Malaysia.

#ACT4CAT Coalition is made up of 5 human rights organisations namely Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM), the Malaysian Bar, the Amnesty International Malaysia, Suara Rakyat Malaysia (SUARAM) and Lawyers for Liberty (LFL).
