I was born in June of 1982 in Bangkok, Thailand. I studied at
Virginia Tech, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business - with a
Hospitality and Tourism Management major - from
Pamplin College of Business in Blacksburg, VA.
HTM was ranked as the #2 program in the United States and the #6 program in the world by QS World University Rankings.
I was involved with
TEDxBKK - the first TEDx event in Thailand - as a curator and principal organizer between 2010-2014
I co-founded two companies:
Ready Office, a tailor-made CRM software house, and
Nettree Data Center.
My time in politics includes serving as an assistant to MP
Anik Amranand between 2011-2013, she was a Deputy Chairman of the Energy Commission during that period.
My startup experiences include working in full-time management positions for
Uber,
Go-Jek, and
OYO. All Decacorn with a valuation of over $10 billion.
I have had my fair share in the journalism world, my byline includes stories about
The Corona Virus,
The Nakhon Ratchasima shooting, and
The Tham Luang cave rescue.
My hobbies include: Ham Radio (Callsign
N7DEJ/E23PHO), listening to podcasts (Planet Money, Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!, This American Life, Startup, Serial, Radiolab). I have a 7-year-old Toy Poodle named
Santa's Little Helper. I also volunteer at
Make-A-Wish Foundation.
