Things I have learned from my career in community and product:
- You can ban Nazis if you want. Try it. It's fun!
- You don't have to tolerate behavior you don't support in your space.
- Seemingly simple interactions can literally be life-saving.
- Friendships made on the internet can be as deep, strong, and lasting as IRL, even more so.
- When you remove bad actors, you make room for better voices- so don't be afraid of losing members.
