It's a crappy feeling. Feeling uncertain about the future, I was starting to doubt my competency as a Software Engineer. I spent time reflecting, seeing friends, and asking myself what I really wanted.
I didn't feel ready to step into another role right away, so taking some (forced) time off was much needed to get my mind refreshed.
