Recap of the 2021 year

I started the year working for my previous company, my duties were designing software, building software, testing software and mentoring the team.
It was a nice opportunity, we were rebuilding our product to use decoupled systems, we were creating a good base to work in the following years.
Then the work ambient becomes toxic, we were doing a product and client was imposing her view, this added to more problems and discussions ended up in the feeling that I wasn't working anymore the feeling was like if I was going the war every day.

Thanks to my girlfriend decided that I shouldn't live with this feeling and started going to the psychologist. This was the best decision of my year.
Prioritizing my mental health instead of my work.

After a few months, I decided to leave this toxic work environment behind me and started a new chapter in my life.
The first thing I decided was to change my role in the software world, my official role was QA Engineer but the reality was that I was a lead software developer. So I decided to make it official and only apply to Software developer roles.
After being in two selections processes for more than a month, decided to apply in another one and turns out that the entire process can be done in a week, so I decided to start to work with this company.

In August started to work in this new company and in these months I have learned how to work with AWS Cloud, how to manage real-time infrastructure and how to create a project that consumes real-time data.

But the most important thing that I learn is that you should never prioritize your work over your mental health.
