This chapter of my life taught me innumerable valuable lessons I was completely oblivious to. I learnt the value of several aspects and opportunities that I had always been taking for granted (such as the privilege to have education and a nurturing family). Furthermore, I learnt how to communicate effectively and overcome real-life challenges with creative and ingenious thinking. I experienced the strength of working together as a cognitively diverse team. I worked closely with multiple boards of the VIT chapter and witnessed this organisation transform and thrive into an impactful and driven community striving to help and positively impact young lives. Lastly, I also witnessed it provide purpose to its members' lives and provide a platform to meaningfully invest their time and energy to grow and transform as a strong community united by a common purpose. I was fortunate to organise as well as be a part of various events and programs that made peoples lives better. (Ask me about the Each One Teach One program :)
