It’s been a refresher course in mental toughness: learning to shift my focus, do what I can, and make progress in what matters most even when life isn’t cooperating.

Life happens. 

We’ve all heard the gurus say, 

“it’s not what happens but how you respond.”

Easier said than done.

Resilience, mental toughness, is one of the most important skills to develop today.

2 thoughts:

(1) First, it’s all about perspective and processing challenge and trouble to find the seed of equal or great benefit in adversity.

(2) Second, it’s also being kind and compassionate with yourself, making room for personal growth, and cultivating a positive expectation for good.

You really can overcome everything with the right mindset filters, self management strategies, and a few supportive behaviors.
