Over the past couple months I've been working on a goofy little personal project that I didn't really think anyone would care about. Then my wife posted it on Reddit a couple days ago and it's since gotten over 50K visits and a ton of fun feedback. 

Also, I experienced the Reddit 'Hug of Death' for the first time and had to learn a LOT (at 4 in the morning!) about performance optimization!
