I am a research scientist with more than a decade of experience in research design, management, and analysis, with methodologies ranging from quantitative to qualitative methods, and with clients ranging from academics to corporate entities. I have deep expertise in social and cognitive psychology, which informs my lines of inquiry and understanding of user biases and preferences. I combine this with my skill set in statistics and data analytics to generate actionable insights. I also have extensive leadership experience, including managing a UX team, working as a director of four nonprofit programs, and recruiting, training, and managing staff for two different academic research labs. I am a focused and empathetic leader and know how to shift between detail-oriented and big-picture thinking. I am seeking leadership opportunities in a collaborative, interdisciplinary context with an emphasis on data-driven problem solving. I am especially passionate about using social psychology as a tool for mobilizing individuals and communities to live more productive, sustainable, and compassionate lives.
