Illustrated and wrote a blog entry for my ticket into Congregation 2022, an unconference in the village of Cong, Co. Mayo.
This is a unique mind mesh created by Eoin Kennedy to bring people together in his village in the west of Ireland. People from all over Ireland and beyond think and write a response to a choose theme. The 2022 theme is purpose.All the submissions are published on the Cong website. The unconference brings together a group that share their writing openly in huddles throughout the Saturday. These huddles are beautiful gems. Happening in cafes, bookshops, pubs, studios and shops.
The event has grown to offer a Friday night opening in Ashfield Castle and a Sunday social hike or lake trip. It brings tourism to the town in a well formed unique offering.
