Invited by WEALL Ireland Hub for a weekend workshop exploring the role of art in reimagining and helping to build a Wellbeing Economy for the island of Ireland.

A diverse group of artists, researchers, and activists, whose practices already engage with the emerging ideas around new narratives on social progress, ecology, and the economy, including the wellbeing economy. The event was part of a larger project which has the intention of building a post-growth movement on the island of Ireland, embedding our inquiry in culture, language and narrative.

This project is brought together by the Irish hub of the Wellbeing Economy Alliance, part of a global movement that focuses on the dominant economic narrative (capitalism, neoliberalism, colonialism) as a source of ill-being, and consequently, the point of departure.
