Markdown Documentation

Up to now, I've been using simple text files as notes/documentation for nearly everything as I find most word processors to be clunky overkill. However as my notes expand, the lack of a few basic formatting features e.g. headers etc, has become apparent.

After some research, I found Markdown clearly the way to go as it is simple, quick, portable and future proof. I've already started to tame some of my wildest text files with some basic syntax [addlink]. I'll add more as I need too.
