I hate to break this to anyone new to the industry but even as developers there are unavoidable times where you’ll have to take on tasks that you feel are boring, repetitive or beneath you.
On the flip side: if you’re a manager or team lead, you’ll be responsible for divvying out those tasks and you can be met with somewhat-understandable lack of enthusiasm.
Whichever side you’re on, I implore you to find something positive in these tasks – they don’t have to be mundane.
