In April 2021 I was reading Josh Comeau's blog post about how he built his blog. I was amazed by all the little details and interactivity that he adds to his posts. Every post ends up feeling like a video game.

So, inspired by that I started thinking ... How about a tool that lets you write interactive blog posts like Josh's? But from the browser and without having to install anything.

And that's how Salto was born!

Salto offers an easy way to write interactive blog posts from the browser. Blog platforms like Medium, Substack, and others are great for the majority of people but when it comes to programming blogs these platforms are too rigid. That's why I'm working on Salto.
