Publishing a book is an immersive experience in itself. I saw a lot of limitations with the conventional print publishing industry and thought of doing something about it by leveraging my software skills. That was when I got the idea for a digital publishing platform. 
I soon registered a domain for the same magicauthor.com 

In the next couple of years, I could spin up a basic prototype and get the platform rolling for those willing to self publish eBooks.

I used to work part-time (weekends and late evenings) on this project.
