Today was a really fun day. I finally got the chance to do tree planting at Taman Tugu Negara which is organized by myBumi YouthCareMalaysia. We collaborated with Free Tree Society where we were guided on ways to plant a tree and educated on the importance of rainwater harvesting which is a technology that should definitely be paid more attention by the general public. 

After the tree planting session, Ms. Caroline lead us to a hiking trail while she lecture us about the environment and the dangers that are coming along with it if we do not start change now. Do you know that flushing consumes the most water in our household! I didn't until I joined this programme. 

It was a really insightful journey, so insightful that I went back home and shared my knowledge with my family and we had a conversation about the environment and ways to help slow down the damage being done.
