Here’s the recent redesign I did for my portfolio site. The main page includes the usual description of my work and resumé. What made this project interesting was developing a complementary NFC 'business card' people can tap their phone against, which brings up the links for my portfolio, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
Is the NFC card practical right now, in a time when I’m not meeting many people in person (let alone getting them within NFC reader distance or me)? 😅 Not necessarily, but I wanted to see how easily I could do this for future projects, since I think it can really add the ‘wow factor’ when connecting at a meet-up or conference.
