Guested Lectured in Sociology Class
As a graduate student in a course on the sociology of the professions, I developed a one-page mind-map summary of Magali Sarfatti Larson's The Rise of Professionalism which I was asked to present in a subsequent offering of the course.

This book was a Marxist and Weberian analysis of the ways in which the professions and the university (as an institution) work together to consolidate power and how professionalism operates as an ideology inĀ  corporate capitalism.
