I've been looking for a new project in the last few months to work on my technical skills and to have something to show to the world. There's been some ideas that spark my interest, but it's been hard for me to pick one and I've been doubting how to start.

Recently, I began a new vegan diet, and I noticed that several people close to me are also struggling trying to find a nutritionist that's a good fit to their needs. This made me decide that this is what I want to focus on.

As of right now, what I want to create is a platform where nutritionists and users can interact: users can find and choose nutritionists based on their specific needs and reviews, and nutritionists have tools to create and share their diets with their clients.

I'm sure there might be other platforms that do this already, but none of them is big enough to be mainstream (at least here in Mexico). This makes it possible for me to test this locally and offer something of value to the nutritionists in my community.

The main drawback for this project is that initially I I was thinking on developing a Swift project, as I'm more interesting on developing mobile apps. However, I believe this would be more useful than an iOS-only app that would have a more limited user base, and would help me in my main objective of landing a job as a developer.
