I've just launched Data Protection and privacy guides under open license!

The guides are intended for Mercy Corps staff and partners but can be used and modified by anybody. They combine existing Mercy Corps policies, guidance documents, simple tutorials, and links to other resources in a range of formats and languages to help Mercy Corps staff and partners better understand and implement responsible data practices. Program teams and partners ask for clear, localized content, with practical examples all the time, but are often left to wade through a confusing mix of dense, English-language, text.

The guides are available in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and Ukrainian and in three formats:

a series of videos,
branded PDFs (sample guide in English here), and
unbranded content in Github.

It's been quite a haul to bring these to life, but I'm very excited to have developed an immediately useful product that's already getting great feedback!
